Office Evolution Boosts North Carolina Presence with New Charlotte Location

As demand for coworking workspace that’s close-to-home increases, Office Evolution strengthens presence in Charlotte with a new location on the way

December 10, 2020 // Franchising.com // Louisville, Colo. - Office Evolution, the nation’s largest coworking franchisor known for its network of locally owned, close-to-home coworking spaces, is continuing its North Carolina expansion by awarding the brand’s second location in Charlotte. The new Office Evolution location will offer private offices, conference rooms, and shared workspace for small- to medium-sized businesses and employees of larger corporations who are working remotely.

This new location will be owned and operated by Doug Havas, who owns Charlotte’s first Office Evolution location, Charlotte University Research Park. Havas is eyeing sites in SouthPark and near Ballantyne, among other areas in the greater Charlotte area. The brand’s second Charlotte location will join five existing locations in North Carolina.

“Throughout the pandemic, we have been able to provide small businesses and entrepreneurs with a flexible workspace close-to-home,” said Havas. “It has been such a great experience to help local professionals grow their businesses and, with this new location, we are not only excited to strengthen our presence in Charlotte, but continue making a difference for local entrepreneurs.”

Office Evolution’s steady growth is fueled by the increased demand for flexible, close-to-home coworking office space. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, businesses of all sizes are pivoting away from expensive real estate in densely packed cities and are turning towards flexible workspace close-to-home as a solution to the traditional office setting. As employers realize that remote working is resulting in more productive employees, businesses are tapping in to coworking spaces to provide employees with a safe and collaborative environment that is closer to home.

“I am so impressed with Doug’s entrepreneurial drive and commitment to helping the local business community,” said Office Evolution Chief Marketing and Development Officer Andrea Pirrotti-Dranchak. “As COVID-19 continues to transform where and how people work, we are proud to have franchise partners like Doug who are providing the support and resources to small businesses in their communities. With more than 70 locations across the nation, we are excited to continue our expansion in Charlotte and help small business owners and remote workers thrive.”

Since the start of Covid-19, Office Evolution has been open and providing members with a clean and safe environment to get work done and drive their businesses forward. Office Evolution’s commitment to business continuity for its members has helped forge a strong sense of loyalty from its members.
