Gyroville Offers Stimulus Payment for New Franchisees

$5000 rebate after Grand Opening

January 04, 2021 // Franchising.com // Fort Lauderdale, FL. - Gyroville already had planned on focusing part of its expansion plans for 2021 on multi-unit operators. There are substantial incentives for these candidates including reduced franchise fees for multiple locations along with a portion of the weekly royalty payment. Now Gyroville has decided to offer new single unit franchisees a $5000 rebate once the store has been opened for 30 days.

“We recognize that many franchisees focus on the construction portion of the process and tend to forget about the grand opening marketing needs of the location,” said Lambros Kokkinelis, founder and CEO of Gyroville. He continues “these franchisees would greatly benefit knowing that they will receive a substantial stimulus payment to help cover the cost of the grand opening celebration. It would enable them to comfortably spend the required marketing dollars to build the initial awareness that will propel the location.”

Gyroville is looking to partner with single unit operators that have experience in other franchise systems. This would ensure that they have the experience and infrastructure required to build and operate their own location. In addition, Gyroville has also had success training individuals that have decided to make Gyroville their first restaurant experience. Mr. Kokkinelis points to his Coral Springs franchisees, who are retired police officers. “They have proven that success is all about the system and the individual. If someone is motivated and willing to learn, then the tools we offer will help them succeed,” said Mr. Kokkinelis.

Gyroville would like to focus the single unit franchisee growth plan on Florida, Georgia and Texas. The company expects to sign 4-6 single unit franchisees in 2021. This, coupled with the planned Area Developers, will result in an additional 10-15 locations on pace to open by the end of 2021.

“Our concept continues to be set up for success in this changing fast casual environment.” said Mr. Kokkinelis. “Landlords are eager to work with established brands to fill those empty spaces and we are finding that our leverage in negotiating is at the highest point we have seen in years.” Gyroville is poised for growth and is confident 2021 will be a bounce back year.
