Scooter’s Coffee Opens Second Location In Illinois

Glen Carbon Store to Celebrate with Grand Opening Event on August 27

August 18, 2021 // Franchising.com // Glen Carbon, IL -  Scooter’s Coffee, best known for its amazingly fast drive-thru, specialty coffee, and baked-from-scratch pastries, added a new location at 4208 South State Route 159 in Glen Carbon, Illinois. To celebrate, the drive-thru location will be hosting a Grand Opening on Friday, August 27, where 50% of the day’s sales will be donated to the 2021 Walk to End Alzheimer's in the Edwardsville Area. When you participate in Walk to End Alzheimer’s, the funds raised fuel the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association and help advance critical care, support, and research.

The drive-thru location is owned by Bob and Lindsey Semptimphelter. “We feel very fortunate to live in such a great town. The response from our community so far has been fantastic,” said Bob. “In our pledge to give back, we will be donating 50% of our sales to The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® Edwardsville Area, IL. We are excited to serve our customers world-class coffee while keeping to our brand promise of Amazing People, Amazing Drinks… Amazingly Fast!” In addition on Grand Opening Day, customers can earn 50 bonus Smiles when they pay with the Scooter’s mobile app! With the app, customers earn 3 “Smiles” for every dollar spent, and once they reach 180 Smiles, they earn a free drink. All customers start in the Scooter Doodle status level, with perks that include a free drink on their birthday and surprise rewards, exclusive to the mobile app only. After earning 500 Smiles, customers move into the Caramelicious® status level with additional perks.

To pay with the app, customers simply need to link a credit card and tap “Pay in Stores” from the home screen. Then, if they choose to tip, they can select a custom amount or percentage prior to scanning their app. Customers also have the option to pay with cash or a gift card and still earn loyalty through the app by using the “Scan to Earn Loyalty” Only QR code.

Scooter’s Coffee is a drive-thru franchise that has been serving coffee for more than 20 years. Its signature drink is the Caramelicious®, and the menu features an array of specialty espresso beverages, single-origin coffee, fruit smoothies, Red Bull Infusions, Cold Brew, baked-from-scratch pastries, and savory breakfast options.
