Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Expands Footprint (and Paw Prints) to 11 Locations in Greater Houston with Woodforest Grand Opening

Grand opening event features 1,000-pound pet food donation to local pet rescue groups and pet pampering giveaways

August 23, 2021 // Franchising.com // Orlando, Fla. - Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, a specialty pet retail and grooming franchise, celebrates the opening of their newest neighborhood store in Woodforest with a grand opening event from August 21 to 28, bringing the total number of Houston area stores to 11.

Each Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming store is a locally-owned franchise that serves the head-to-tail needs of pets with a personal touch. “Houston’s neighborhood pet store” provides professional grooming, healthy pet foods, gourmet treats and supplies for complete pet care, wellness and pampering.

“Our expansion in the Houston market demonstrates our long-term confidence in and commitment to the region,” said Paul Allen, Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming CEO. “Our local franchise owners have generated remarkable success and brand loyalty. They cater to Houston customers and their pets with expertise and care, through community-focused, neighborhood stores.”

The Woodforest store grand opening kicked off on Saturday, August 21 at 9 a.m. at 950 Pine Market Ave., Suite 200, Montgomery, Texas 77316. The first 20 customers in the store received free Woof Gang Bakery gourmet dog treats for a year.

The week-long grand opening celebration runs August 21 to 28. During the event, customers can enter to win “pawsome” raffle prizes including free pet food for a year, gift baskets filled with pet products and dog toys, store credits and more pet pampering giveaways. Plus, “pawdicures” (pet nail trims) and teeth brushing will be half price during grand opening week.

With an ongoing mission to support local pet communities, as part of this grand opening, the company will donate 1,000 pounds of pet food to be shared between two Montgomery County non-profit animal rescue organizations – Friends of Faye and Camo Animal Rescue.

Greg and Ginger Davis are the owners of the new Woodforest store, as well as locations in College Park and Conroe. They are passionate about pets and the quality and service associated with the Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming brand.

“Woodforest loves their fur babies and we are here to provide the absolute best experience for both pets and pet parents. From hugs and kisses, to nutrition and wellness that can lead to a long, healthy, happy lifetime together,” said Greg Davis. “We are so excited about this community, the warm reception we have received and the relationships with our neighbors that we will continue to foster.”

The couple is avidly involved in community events, creating local collaborations and partnering with area rescue groups to help pets in need find their “fur-ever” homes. They look forward to soon offering pet training classes in the store, making their event room available to host pet events and “paw-tys” and being a part of the annual community Christmas parade.
