PrimoHoagies Kicks-Off Thanksgiving Week with Meal Donations to Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey Organizations

Gourmet hoagie chain delivers over 1,400 meals to those in need throughout the region

November 23, 2021 // // WESTVILLE, NJ - PrimoHoagies today announced it will donate over 1,400 meals to those in need this Thanksgiving week at organizations throughout Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.

“After what has been a very difficult almost two years for families and individuals throughout our country, we feel it’s our duty to give back to those who were hit the hardest,” said PrimoHoagies CEO Nicholas Papanier Jr. “Thanksgiving is all about being grateful for the abundance we have and doing our part to share that abundance with those in need. We are proud to partner with Philadelphia and New Jersey organizations who work 365 days a year to ensure their community members are cared for.”

Organizations receiving meal donations to help feed their communities include:

  • Atlantic City Covenant House in Atlantic City, NJ
  • Broad Street Ministry in Philadelphia, PA
  • Cathedral Kitchen in Camden, NJ
  • Spirit and Truth Ministries in Vineland, NJ
  • The Food Bank of South Jersey in Pennsauken, NJ
  • The Lighthouse in Philadelphia, PA
  • The Samaritan Center of Glassboro, Inc. Food Bank

"We're honored that PrimoHoagies thought of us and our guests this year during Thanksgiving,” said Laure Biron, CEO, Broad Street Ministry. “We are grateful that they not only donated meals, but are sending volunteers to serve and help with our other direct services as well.  Kitchen takeovers, like this one, and wonderful, generous partners like PrimoHoagies help us to continue to deliver fresh meals to our guests throughout the year."

This December, for the seventh year in a row, PrimoHoagies will also brighten the holidays for local children by making toy donations to schools and organizations in Philadelphia through its charitable arm, PrimoCares.
