A distinct differentiator, Daddy’s Chicken Shack stands out in the chicken sandwich craze by offering some of the most unique flavor pairings, which happen to be inspired by Pace and Chris’ combined cultures. Each chicken sandwich captures Pace’s American Southern roots while incorporating Southeast Asian and Japanese flavors as a nod to Chris, who is half-Japanese. Daddy’s signature chicken items - like sandwiches, sliders and nuggets - are perfectly paired with buttermilk and aromatics for a double-battered crispy delight. Other options on their menu include all-day breakfast, a variety of fresh salads, and vegan chicken nuggets and sandwiches, which are coated in a delicious coconut curry milk, brined cauliflower and sambal mayo for a flavorful experience.
To support a fresh and quality dining experience, Daddy’s Chicken Shack is a fast-casual concept equipped with world-class QSR technology and kitchen efficiencies. The brand’s flagship location, set to open in the heights area of Houston, Texas in February 2022, will feature a state-of-the-art kitchen design with dual production lines. One side prepares drive-thru and mobile orders while the other side prepares food for the dining room - providing all guests with a seamless ordering and dining process. The 3,400 sq.ft. location will serve as a catalyst for a larger brand presence across the nation and house the franchise training center. The design encompasses the familiarity of comforting nostalgia, Southern American design, and Wabi Sabi (Japanese for perfect imperfection), with many details paying homage to Pace’s Texas family farm in a way that is charming but minimalistic. The layout features a laid-back feel which allows customers to kick back and relax as they enjoy a meal.
“The hospitality obsessed, technology supported concept that we’ve always dreamed about is now becoming a reality. We have built a concept that allows our customers to experience Daddy’s how they want to and where they want to in any given scenario that they may find themselves in. There are approximately 10 to 12 different ways to order and just as many ways to pick-up / hand-off our food.” said Georgalas. “Our processes and systems are fine-tuned and will ultimately make our food service fast, accurate and efficient allowing our staff to deliver “warm hug” hospitality with a smile.
As Daddy’s Chicken Shack opens its doors to multi-unit restaurant operators, the duo has an experienced franchise growth team in its corner - Dave Liniger, co-founder of RE/MAX and Dr. Ben Litalien, principal of Franchise Well Consulting who also teaches the Franchise Management program at Georgetown University - to guide them in their new business venture.
