Phenix Salon Suites Signs 8-Unit Development Deal in Sweden

Leading Salon Suite Brand Expands International Footprint in Northern Europe with Existing Multi-Unit Operator

January 05, 2022 // Franchising.com // SWEDEN - Phenix Salon Suites, the nation’s leading salon suite brand turned international trailblazer, has announced another global development deal. Randa Shebly-Cobb, who opened the brand’s 300th salon location in Atlanta earlier this year, will soon bring Phenix Salon Suites’ brand to Sweden.

Randa, an Eritrean born national, was raised in Sweden with an excellent background in business. She started her first company at age 22 and never lost her passion for pursuing business ventures across the globe. With Phenix Salon Suites as a new venture, Randa saw the award-winning concept performing well in the Scandinavian country that she called home for the majority of her childhood. She will open eight salon locations across the country, starting in the capital city, Stockholm.

Working closely with Randa to open the Sweden salon locations will be world-renowned hairdressing expert and Phenix’s European Operations Director John Gillespie. Randa’s signed agreement comes on the heels of Phenix Salon Suites’ first opening in Manchester, thanks to the experienced development group, Phenix LTD-UK, who signed an agreement to open 75 Phenix Salon Suites locations throughout the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

Phenix Salon Suites experienced a monumental year in 2021. From a multi-unit partnership between LL COOL J and long-time Phenix franchisee Kevin Davis, to surpassing 300 locations with over 50 new licenses sold in both 2020 and 2021 respectively, global expansion was the logical next step.
