Perkins Freshens Up Menu, Announcing Return of Strawberry Fresh-tival®

May 06, 2022 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA - Perkins Restaurant & Bakery announced today the return of a fan-favorite menu line-up, enhancing its breakfast and lunch offerings just in time for summer.

Returning to the homestyle restaurant for a limited time is the Strawberry Fresh-tival® menu. With breakfast and lunch options available, the new items all include sweet farm fresh strawberries that are harvested at peak picking season. Just in time for Mother’s Day, the limited time strawberry line-up is available at all Perkins locations nationwide now through the end of June.

The Strawberry Fresh-tival® menu features four delectable breakfast platters. Guests have the option to indulge in the flaky Fresh Strawberry Croissant French Toast Platter, the made-from-scratch Fresh Strawberry Belgian Waffle Platter, the decadent Fresh Strawberry Crepes Platter or a classic stack of the Fresh Strawberry Buttermilk Pancake Platter. Each “berry” good meal is topped with fresh glazed strawberries, powdered sugar and whipped topping. These delicious entrees are accompanied by two eggs served any-style and a choice of Applewood smoked bacon or pork sausage links.

Elevating the lineup are two new refreshing lunch selections, with strawberries being added into the mix to highlight the fruit’s vibrant color and natural sweetness. The Fresh Strawberry Walnut & Grilled Chicken Salad includes garden fresh spinach with grilled chicken, strawberries, red onions and candied walnuts, topped with a house-made Strawberry Vinaigrette. Equally tasty, the Sonoma Chicken Salad Croissant & Fresh Strawberry Salad combo features a flaky, buttery croissant loaded with a blend of roasted pulled chicken, red grapes, celery and walnuts. The meal is perfectly paired with a petite-sized spinach salad topped with fresh strawberries, red onions, candied walnuts and the house-made Strawberry Vinaigrette.

The limited time offers also include two appetizing bakery treats, both of which are annual favorites. The Fresh Strawberry Pie includes fresh glazed strawberries layered with Bavarian cream in a flaky pie crust and the Strawberry Cream Cheese Mammoth Muffin® is baked with loads of strawberries and topped off with strawberry cream cheese icing.
