Big Whiskey’s Releases New Summer Menu On The Heels Of Record Breaking Spring Menu
June 09, 2022 // Franchising.com // Ozark, MO - Big Whiskey’s American Restaurant & Bar is looking to continue its streak of record breaking sales with its LTO menus with their new “All American Summer” menu. The previous two quarterly LTO menus have boasted record breaking sales and featured both seasonal staples and innovative new recipes.
The spring menu, “Spring Cheers”, boasted Big Whiskey’s top selling LTO item of all time, Sesame Shrimp Wonton Nachos. The nachos featured Big Whiskey’s fan favorite Boom Boom Shrimp, topped with toasted sesame seeds, red bell peppers, Thai chili aioli, zesty queso, shredded red cabbage and green onion, all served over specially seasoned crispy wonton chips. Another popular selection from the menu was the Granny Smith’s Turkey Gouda sandwich with thinly sliced smoked turkey, melted gouda cheese, savory bacon jam and thinly sliced crisp Granny Apples served on toasted berry wheat bread. The sandwich can still be ordered on Big Whiskey’s lunch menu, Monday-Friday. These top sellers contributed to a year-over-year fifty three percent increase in LTO menu sales with an increased ticket average of more than five percent above inflation.
With the latest iteration of Big Whiskey’s seasonal menu, the brand took some liberties with an American staple, pimento cheese, and put its own spin on the current hot honey craze. The menu features the Pimento Patty Melt, a smashed steak patty topped with caramelized onions, melted provolone topped with housemade pimento cheese spread served on grilled marble rye. Pimento cheese is a featured menu item and appears three times on the summer menu.
Another exciting summer feature is the Hot Honey Chicken n’ Biscuit. The dish features a hand-breaded crispy chicken breast drizzled with housemade hot honey sauce. Served on top of a lightly griddle toasted buttered biscuit with a side of BW crispy breakfast potatoes. Guests can enjoy the Hot Honey Chicken n’ Biscuit at brunch, lunch or dinner.
Big Whiskey’s was founded in Downtown Springfield, Missouri in 2006.
