810 Billiards & Bowling Expanding to 3 New States, Aims to Sign 6 More Agreements This Year

The “eatertainment” franchise has signed multiple franchise agreements this year, including a multi-unit deal, and is eager to keep growing.

July 28, 2022 // Franchising.com // 810 Billiards & Bowling, the emerging ‘eatertainment’ franchise gearing up to open its first franchise-owned centers, has seen significant growth this year. The brand has signed a multi-unit deal with an owner for locations in Sugar Land and Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, and is expanding to three new states as well, with locations coming to northern California and middle Tennessee.

In addition to these newest signings, their first franchisees in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Greenville, South Carolina, are slated to open their doors to the public this year. 810 Billiards & Bowling is also looking at Tampa as an attractive market and wants to bring in six more signings by the close of this year, continuing its rapid growth.

“The first half of 2022 has been great. We’ve been very focused on the franchise growth and had a solid first half of the year from a new unit development standpoint,” said Michael Siniscalchi, CEO. “We’re eager to continue to sign and get real estate going.”

To ensure the company is strong as it scales, the 810 Billiards & Bowling team has greatly improved operations and efficiency and dealt with external issues like supply chain and employment problems. They hired two new executives who have been paramount to this effort:  Melisa Schisel, director of sales, and Wayne Stancil, chief operating officer.

Schisel has developed a centralized national sales team for 810 Billiards & Bowling that went live in January and has grown to four employees. This support for the phone lines and booking process has benefited franchisees, who no longer need to add someone to the payroll to manage the group reservations. Stancil brings many years of experience in the hospitality industry from his prior position as vice president of operations for Main Event, which nearly quadrupled in unit size while he worked there.

“Melissa brought a ton of outside experience and tools to the table that we've been able to leverage, and we are very excited about the progress of the sales team so far,” said Siniscalchi. “And as we get geared up to start adding units and growing our footprint, it's incredibly valuable to have Wayne’s operational expertise on the team.”

The company is implementing other changes, including a menu update, which Siniscalchi said was made to incorporate more diet-restricted items and more meals made in-house to combat supply issues. Some of the delicious additions guests will see on their new summer menu include taco salad, chicken/bacon/ranch pizza, chicken pesto pizza, wonton tacos, orange chicken, garlic knots, southwest style burger, an Italian BMT and a dip sampler.

And with all these exciting things happening within the brand, they are ready to bring in new franchisees that can offer 810 Billiard & Bowling’s wide-ranging entertainment and dining options to new areas nationwide.

“We feel that one of the big advantages of our concept is that it's universal. Unlike other franchises, we're not a regional food product or service. There's demand for family and young adult entertainment and high-quality food and beverage across the country. That, combined with the fact that we're a younger brand with many territories still available, makes for a great venture for new franchisees,” said Siniscalchi.

The total investment necessary to begin the operation of an 810 Bowling Franchised Business is $1,427,500 to $2,474,000, including a $50,000 franchise fee. For more information on franchising with 810 Billiards & Bowling, visit 810bowling.com/franchising.
