Breakthrough Better Chicken Brand Named On List of the 500 Largest United States Franchise Brands

The brand jumped more than 20 spots since last year’s ranking and has made the list for the past two years in a row. In the last three years, Slim Chickens’ sales grew by 59.8%, reaching $265,052,453 million in revenue and experiencing 25.7%-unit growth. Previously, the Top 400 Franchise Times list expanded its annual ranking to 500 of the largest U.S.- based franchise systems by global systemwide sales. The project is the result of a five-month research and reporting effort that leads to the most credible and objective franchise ranking available, said Franchise Times Editor in Chief Laura Michaels.

The collection of systemwide sales data also provides useful insight into the franchise industry’s performance coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic. Every segment gained ground in 2021, with some getting back to or even surpassing pre-pandemic sales.
