World’s Fifth-Largest Family Entertainment Concept Primes Systems and Processes in Preparation for Continued Expansion in 2023
January 26, 2023 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA – Altitude Trampoline Park reached exhilarating new heights in 2022, growing to one of the world’s largest family entertainment brands with nearly 90 locations open and even more in development worldwide.
The active family entertainment franchise signed 17-plus agreements to bring active family fun to new markets in Northern Michigan, New Mexico, Virginia, Coastal South Carolina, Indiana, Denver and even Spain. After opening nine parks in 2022, Altitude shared its Jump Life!SM mantra with children and families in new markets including Lawrenceville, Georgia; Jacksonville Beach, Bradenton and Tallahassee, Florida; Mandeville, Louisiana, in addition the reopening of its existing park in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
“At the start of the year, our team invested heavily into developing and strengthening our ties with new and existing park suppliers to create additional revenue streams for our venues,” said Robert Morris, VP of Development for Altitude Park. “Refreshed concessions offerings, in-park apparel, updated and exclusive attractions and streamlined on-boarding systems reinvigorated the franchise opportunity, drawing interest from both new and existing franchise operators.”
Beyond the remarkable growth achieved this year, Altitude joined Inc. Magazine’s 2022 list of “America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies” with an impressive ranking in the top 15 percent of this year’s honorees, and as the only family entertainment brand in its sector. Making its debut on the Franchise Times’ Top 500 list in 2022, the brand experienced a 30 percent increase in global systemwide sales in 2021 when compared to pre-pandemic figures.
Throughout the year, Altitude has not only grown its franchise footprint, but its internal team as well. “Recognitions such as the Inc. 5000 and Franchise Times’ Top 500 put our brand’s proven franchise opportunity on the map with even more potential franchise owners this past year,” said Rotondo. “At the same time, strengthening the leadership team with new and existing team members has allowed us to offer more support to the franchise system across all areas from operations to technology and brand-wide marketing activations such as our value-driving membership program. I’m confident that our brand is primed for rapid, sustainable growth as we look ahead to the new year.”
