Buddy’s Home Furnishings Opens Franchise Locations In Alabama And North Carolina

February 02, 2023 // Franchising.com // ORLANDO, FLA. - Buddy’s Home Furnishings, a retailer specializing in the sales and rental ownership of furniture, electronics, appliances and home accessories, has opened two new franchise locations in Leeds, Alabama, and Roxboro, North Carolina, bringing its nationwide footprint to more than 335 stores.

The Leeds store is operated by bebe stores inc., one of Buddy's largest multi-unit franchise groups with more than 60 stores across 10 states. Martin Fontela, Chief Operating Officer of bebe, said the company is excited to continue its expansion with Buddy's.

"Buddy’s fosters a team-minded mentality between the franchisee and franchisor, which is a dynamic you don’t find in most franchise opportunities," said Fontela. “It’s a huge reason why we’ve been able to grow at an exponential rate, and we’re proud to open the doors of our 64th location in Leeds.”

The Roxboro location is the seventh store in the portfolio of Kappa Investments, LLC. Jerry Marshall, owner of Kappa, expressed similar enthusiasm for their continued growth with the company.
