Pizza Factory Opens in Mesa, Increasing Arizona Footprint to Four Locations

Local Arizona Entrepreneur Opens The Brand’s First Location in Maricopa County

February 22, 2023 // Franchising.com // MESA, Ariz. - The award-winning pizza brand is continuing to build upon its growing Arizona presence, with its newest location in Mesa set to open on February 21.

Located at 1221 S Gilbert Road, the Pizza Factory is centrally located within the community, and will offer the same fresh, high-quality ingredients and delicious menu the brand is widely known for at its locations across the country.

The new restaurant is owned by Rich Cardon, an Arizona native who has worked in commercial real estate and business banking for more than 20 years. Cardon has always had a desire to open a restaurant, and found that Pizza Factory was the perfect fit given he is a fan of the west coast legacy brand himself.

“I’ve been frequenting the Pizza Factory in Payson since I was knee high to a grasshopper, so opening my own location with the brand was an easy decision,” said Cardon. “Every experience I’ve had at the restaurant has been amazing. From the customer service to the food to the atmosphere, it has always been great, and it’s no surprise given the brand is led by an amazing team that truly cares about the success of each and every location. At its core, Pizza Factory is a brand that knows good pizza, and I’m excited for the Mesa community to fall in love with the brand the way that I have.”

Pizza Factory is in a league of its own within the pizza industry.
