Hounds Town USA Opens in Charlotte, Its Sixth Location in North Carolina

Hounds Town USA, the daycare and boarding concept that has been expanding throughout North Carolina for several years now, announced today the opening of its newest location in Charlotte. The new Hounds Town is located at 117 West 29 Street in North Davidson (NoDa), Charlotte’s art and entertainment district, a neighborhood defined by its eclectic, artsy, and playful character. It is owned and operated by Marcos De Oliveira and is set to open on May 3.

“It has always been a dream of mine to have my own business,” said De Oliveira, who has worked within various marketing roles for 30 years. “I wanted to join a brand that would present the opportunity for me to not only grow as a business owner but also get involved with my community - Hounds Town was the perfect fit. I’m excited to bring the famous Hounds Town interactive experience to Charlotte pet lovers and look forward to building long-standing relationships with the community, in particular NoDa, Plaza Midwood and University City.”

Before joining Hounds Town, De Oliveira worked with CPG brands as an executive for their Latin American operations for over 30 years. De Oliveira will be operating the Charlotte location with the support of his daughter Julia, who will be a manager and responsible for the day-to-day operations. Following the opening of the Charlotte location, De Oliveira is already planning in further expanding Hounds Town across the Greater Charlotte area.
