Provider of Supplemental, Enrichment Education Grows its Franchise Footprint into Lake Wylie and Rock Hill

Nancy recently retired from her 20-year career as an educator to venture into franchise ownership with her husband Joe, who is an experienced data and business intelligence analyst with an MBA.

“Although I’m sunsetting my career as a teacher, I’m reinvesting my time and energy into something I truly love outside of the classroom,” said Nancy. “Franchising with Sylvan means I can focus on my passion for working with students and helping them succeed.”

The couple was attracted to Sylvan’s brand recognition, positive reputation and proven processes that have been developed over more than 40 years in the industry.

“My education experience paired with Joe’s business expertise is an ideal combination to bring these two centers to life,” said Nancy. “However, we haven’t run a business together, so that’s where Sylvan comes into the equation.”
