New Orleans-born coffeehouse to celebrate opening of its fifth Houston-area location with free beignets and discounts

June 20, 2023 // Franchising.com // HOUSTON - Anyone craving a fresh-tasting cup of coffee and delicious beignets can finally answer those calls when PJ’s Coffee opened its doors in Sugar Land on Monday, June 19.

Located at 17211 W. Grand Pkwy., across the street from Memorial Herman Sugar Land Hospital, the New Orleans-born brand, known for its specialty roasted flavors, will offer quality coffee, specialty drinks and baked goods alongside the quality service that PJ’s Coffee is recognized for across the country. The new coffeehouse will showcase its hot and cold beverages at a soft open celebration on Monday where every guest will receive a FREE freshly made beignet (while supplies last) that is sure to bring a taste of The Crescent City with each bite.

“There’s no better way to start your morning than with a hot cup of coffee and a beignet, so we’re pumped to have PJ’s Coffee opening in Sugar Land and show guests what they’ve been missing,” said Michael and Esmeralda Padgett, the owners and operators. “Our delicious beignets, coffee, teas and Original Cold Brews are sure to please any palette. As part of its soft opening celebration, the new PJ’s Coffee in Sugar Land will also offer a 10% discount to all teachers, students, healthcare workers, first responders and veterans.

Owned by the Padgett’s, who are longtime Houston residents, this location marks the fifth PJ’s Coffeein the Space City area and 166th systemwide. PJ’s will serve guests from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

PJ’s Coffee utilizes only the best quality Arabica coffee and carries a complete line of espresso-based beverages, flavored coffee, Original Cold Brew™ iced coffee, plus a variety of food options. Fresh-baked pastries and desserts are available during multiple parts of the day.
