ManageMowed Earns Distinguished Franchise Innovation Award

Commercial Landscape Management Franchise Receives Recognition for Most Innovative Employee Training in Fifth Annual Contest

August 15, 2023 // Franchising.com // EDMONDS, Wash. - ManageMowed announced today it has earned recognition on Franchise Update Media’s fifth annual Franchise Innovation Awards contest for its innovation in employee training. The goal of the awards is to identify and recognize the franchises creating and implementing the most original and successful innovative strategies and tactics to build their brand.

“I’m incredibly proud of our leadership team at ManageMowed for their relentless drive to continuously evaluate and improve our employee training process,” said Peter Roberts, co-founder of ManageMowed. “As a result of their creative ideas and thoughtful solutions, ManageMowed has further established itself as an innovative brand striving to give both our clients and team the best possible landscaping experience.”

A jury of judges evaluated the innovation, objectives, and results of more than 150 entrants. After deliberation, ManageMowed was recognized in the Human Resources category as the winner of its “Most Innovative Employee Training Program” award.

ManageMowed offers a comprehensive training program, which includes corporate and in-field training, as well as up to three days of training in the franchise owners’ territories supplemented by its extensive virtual library. Trainees learn everything from why and how the ManageMowed concept was created, why it works and how to succeed through marketing, technology, management of vendors and clients, and office administration. The training includes at least 30 hours in the classroom and 28 hours in the field.

“One of my biggest achievements has been assisting a senior living facility in Tacoma that helped to restore and renovate the building ahead of its grand opening,” said Justin Harberg, an Account Manager at ManageMowed Edmonds who oversees anywhere between 80 and 160 clients monthly. “I wouldn’t have been able to succeed in this role or in my previous role as an assistant account manager without the guidance of ManageMowed’s training program.”
