Save A Lot and Leevers Supermarket, Inc., Partner to Feed St. Louis Families

November 30, 2023 // Franchising.com // St. Louis - Save A Lot, one of the largest grocery chains in the country, along with Leevers Supermarket, Inc., an employee-owned independent grocer who owns and operates 18 Save A Lot stores in the Greater St. Louis area partnered to donate Thanksgiving dinners to St. Louis families. The Bayer YMCA in St. Louis identified 50 families to receive a full dinner complete with turkey, stuffing, green beans and more. Leevers Supermarkets also provided each recipient a Save A Lot gift card to use at any of their St. Louis stores.

Team members from Save A Lot and Leevers Supermarket worked to compile the bags for each family before delivering them to the Bayer YMCA to distribute. This community partnership between Save A Lot, Leevers Supermarket and the Bayer YMCA is just one of the ways stores do A Lot of Good this time of year.
