Smalls Sliders® Continues Explosive Growth with Over 200 Cans Now Under Development

One of QSR’s Fastest Growing Brands More Than Doubles Pipeline in Just Five Months

February 27, 2024 // // ATLANTA - Smalls Sliders, the cheeseburger slider brand disrupting the QSR industry is officially slidin’ thru the 200-Can mark. With the news coming just a few short months after the brand hit 100 Cans open or under development, this signifies an outstanding achievement in the restaurant space as the demand for the brand has only continued to grow.

Having just re-opened its doors to franchising in May of 2023, Smalls Sliders has sparked nationwide intrigue amongst multi-unit and multi-brand operators looking to expand their business portfolio. The brand currently has Cans open across Louisiana and Mississippi, with a robust pipeline of growth set across 13 states in the Southeast and the Midwest. Likewise, Smalls Sliders has expanded its target growth markets to Utah, Colorado, Kentucky and more, ramping up to officially paint the nation its signature ‘Smorange™’ color.

“We are incredibly proud to see that all of the hard work we’ve poured into the Smalls Sliders brand over the last year has resonated nationwide,” said Maria Rivera, CEO of Smalls Sliders. “So much of this growth and success is due to our stellar franchisees, our team’s constant pursuit to disrupt the status quo, and our loyal frequent sliders who keep us hungry for innovation. We look forward to continuing this path of growth, and hopefully announcing our next milestone of 300 Cans under development very soon.”

The brand’s unprecedented growth doesn’t stop there – Smalls Sliders reported a whopping 3.5 million cheeseburger sliders sold in 2023, in addition to completely selling out of territories in the state of Louisiana. The brand is also projecting to open 40 additional Cans this year, which would more than triple its current open-unit count.

“Since the start, we’ve known that Smalls Sliders has the secret sauce to become a household name,” said Brandon Landry, founder of Smalls Sliders. “As we continue to exceed every goal we set out for ourselves, that sentiment only becomes more tangible. I’m excited to see just how much we’ll achieve this year and to continue celebrating every win as it comes our way.”

Smalls Sliders opened its first signature ‘Smorange™’ colored Can in 2019. Since its inception, Smalls Sliders has disrupted the QSR industry with its stacked leadership team and robust development pipeline, furthering its rapid growth trajectory with more than 200 Cans open or under development. The brand continues to garner high-level industry recognition, with Nation’s Restaurant News featuring Smalls Sliders in its “Breakout Brands of 2023”, and QSR Magazine ranking the brand in its annual QSR 50 Contenders list. Other accolades include ranking on Entrepreneur magazine’s “Top New & Emerging Franchises” list in 2023.
