Entrepreneurs to Bring 10 Eggs Up Grills to Raleigh, Durham and Greensboro , N.C.

July 31, 2024 // Franchising.com // SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Eggs Up Grill will open a new restaurant in Raleigh N.C. this fall. Located at 6820 Davis Circle, the restaurant is the first of 10 for Franchise Partners Pankaj Parmar and Tahir Kakar. The duo plan to open Egg Up Grill restaurants in a territory spanning Raleigh, Durham and Greensboro, N.C.

Parmar is a Raleigh businessman and an alumnus of NC State University. He has owned convenience stores, gas stations, dry cleaners and hotels in the area for the last 41 years. Kakar has been in business in the Triangle for the last 23 years and owns 12 dry cleaners and laundromats. The gentlemen have been business partners for almost two decades.
