Robeks Opens New Location at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Supporting Community’s Wellness
February 11, 2025 // Franchising.com // AURORA, Colo. – Robeks is excited to announce the opening of its newest location at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. Now open at one of the nation’s leading medical campuses, the forthcoming Robeks is positioned to serve the CU Anschutz community that prioritizes quality, better-for-you food choices to fuel their day.
The addition of Robeks is part of a multi-year effort by CU Anschutz and HHP (Health Hospitality Partners) to bring elevated food and retail amenities to campus.
This location will be owned and operated by Angie Baker, a former Navy physiologist with a career rooted in health and wellness. Baker’s journey with Robeks began during her years stationed in San Diego, where she turned to Robeks as a trusted source for nutrient-dense, flavorful options. Now running her newest Robeks location in Colorado, Baker is committed to bringing these same wellness-focused choices to the CU Anschutz community. She sees this location as a natural fit, with its emphasis on health sciences and a population of health-conscious individuals looking for fresh and convenient food options.
“The CU Anschutz Medical Campus is a dynamic environment that celebrates wellness, learning, and growth—core values that Robeks also prioritizes,” said Baker. “We’re thrilled to serve this community, offering a range of healthy and delicious options to support students, faculty, and healthcare professionals in maintaining their health while pursuing their demanding schedules.”
The CU Anschutz Robeks will feature a wide range of smoothies like the popular "Strawnana Berry" and "800LB Gorilla" smoothies, freshly pressed juices, hearty toasts topped with options such as fresh avocado along with other food items. From a refreshing smoothie to recharge after a lecture to a nutrient-rich açai bowl for a quick meal replacement, the new location caters to the need for healthy, convenient options on campus.
“We’re excited to support Angie as she opens this new Robeks, with CU Anschutz being a natural extension of our commitment to health,” said David Rawnsley, President of Robeks. “The campus is home to so many inspiring individuals, each on their own wellness journey. We look forward to becoming part of their daily lives, and we know Angie will be an outstanding ambassador for our brand.”
