Goldfish Swim School Signs Lease Agreement in Las Vegas, Nevada
April 07, 2025 // Franchising.com // TROY, Mich. – Goldfish Swim School Franchising, LLC, announced today that Summerlin Aquatics LLC led by Bob Ryan has signed a lease agreement to open a Goldfish Swim School in Summerlin-Las Vegas, NV. A Goldfish Swim School franchisee since 2013, he currently owns and operates three locations in Chicago—Lincoln Park, Roscoe Village, and Wicker Park—as well as one in Gowanus, New York.
The new Goldfish Swim School, located in the Grand Flamingo Shopping Center will feature a state-of-the-art, shiver-free 90-degree pool, a viewing area for parents, and a tropical-themed facility designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for both kids and parents alike. With Goldfish Swim School’s unique curriculum and small class sizes, children will be able to develop essential swim skills, build confidence, and have fun in the water. This location is scheduled to be open by Summer 2025 and employment opportunities will be available in the coming months.
“I’m still as passionate about swim safety as I was when our first Goldfish Swim School location opened in 2013,” said Goldfish Swim School franchisee Bob Ryan. “Goldfish Swim School’s inviting design, passionate team members and proven curriculum will help kids and families in Summerlin be safer in and around the water and I’m proud to be a part of that.”
Goldfish Swim School provides swim lessons and water safety instruction to infants and children aged four months to 12 years, teaching children how to be safer in and around the water. Each school offers swim lessons and programs using a proprietary philosophy, The Science of SwimPlay®, to build life skills both in and out of the water using play-based learning in a fun and safe environment. Each school’s number one focus and main priority is always the same – educating children on water safety while teaching them how to swim and respect the water.
“Bob Ryan is an ideal franchise owner to expand the Goldfish Swim School brand in Summerlin because of his proven success,” said Chris McCuiston, CEO and co-founder of Goldfish Swim School. “The Summerlin Goldfish Swim School will meet an important need in the community, and we look forward to the opening in the Las Vegas area.”
