Military Veteran and Insurance Veteran Chris Morales Loves Owning a Pronto Franchise

Pronto Insurance Franchise Owner Chris Morales knows all about the leadership, purpose, and art of execution required to excel at a mission. Before the Texas native joined Pronto, he served in the U.S. Army for more than eight years, including deployments in Iraq and Turkey, and humanitarian relief efforts in the U.S. and abroad.

These days, Morales serves his community of Kerrville, Texas, in a whole new way, with another proven partner—Pronto Insurance. Insurance was a natural fit for Chris, whose family has owned their own insurance business for generations. By opening a Pronto franchise, Chris could serve a whole new sector of the industry that his family business didn’t cover. The potential was huge.

So, Morales took advantage of Pronto’s Veteran discount and teamed up with his mother, Kimberly Morales, as new Franchise Owners. They opened their first Pronto location in February.

As the undisputed leader in non-standard insurance serving the Hispanic community, Pronto provides Franchise Owners like Morales a low cost of entry, a residual revenue-based business model, and a proven business model.

Just months into the business, Morales leads his staff in delivering friendly service and right-priced, high-quality insurance and financial products in a convenient, community-minded setting.

“Our customers tell us they enjoy and prefer the experience of working with our franchise location over the competition,” says Morales, of his Kerrville hometown.

The mother-son franchise duo is a shining example of the burgeoning Pronto network. The Brownsville, Texas-based franchise operates nearly 300 U.S. retail locations in Texas, California, and Florida—three states where more than 60 percent of the Hispanic population live in the U.S.

Locally valued and nationally recognized as one of the Top 50 Franchises for Minorities and a Top 25 Franchise for Hispanics, Morales has found a true franchise partner and a brand primed for expansion in this $40 billion industry.

Franchise Owners are reaping the rewards of Pronto's loyal following with the highest retention rate in the industry and a residual-revenue-based model.

Morales says he chose Pronto for the brand's sustained growth potential, high-quality products, and an unmatched ability to “capture a share of the market that has been underserved.”

Franchisees can count on extensive classroom and on-the-job training, and a team of experts for ongoing support with store openings, customer service, and marketing. Morales also appreciates the access to company initiatives and available online training and webinars.

“We are in almost constant contact with the Franchise Sales and Development Manager and have had several visits from the corporate office since opening,” says Morales.

And the future is bright. Backed by one of the largest insurance brokers in the world in the parent company, RPS/Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Pronto aggressively plans to bring the brand's essential services to more people in even more places.

Morales says being in a family-owned franchise brings out the best in him and his mom.
