Buddy's Home Furnishings Growth Surges Past 300 Stores
The popularity of Buddy’s Home Furnishings is soaring.
The franchise retail brand specializing in the sales and rental ownership of furniture, electronics, appliances and home accessories is experiencing significant system-wide growth. The company just wrapped up the third quarter of 2021 by awarding 25 franchise locations and opening 11 new franchise locations, bringing the brand’s nationwide footprint to 309 stores. The growth marked an 8.8% increase in the number of franchise stores in that one quarter alone.
Each of the 25 units were awarded to multi-unit operators, eight of the locations will convert from corporate-owned to franchised stores. Next up is Q4 and Buddy’s Home Furnishings officials project more locations to open by the end of the year and says several more franchise agreements are in the pipeline.

Buddy’s Home Furnishings has been franchising since 2009 and was acquired by Franchise Group, Inc. in 2020. In business for more than 60 years now, 88% of the company’s 300-plus operating stores are franchise owned and operated.
