Taking SUCCESS Local - The New Way to Work

THE CHANGING WORLD OF WORK

There is little doubt the world of work has fundamentally changed1, driving people closer to home, if not in it, and with the increasing need for flex-space in their community.  Now, an iconic brand is bringing its new multi-channel retail concept—SUCCESS® Space—to a neighborhood near you.

SUCCESS Space was conceived by Glenn Sanford, founder of eXp Realty (NASDAQ: EXPI), a global online brokerage powered by top agents and cutting-edge technology that is entirely virtual. With the move from offices to homes during the pandemic, Sanford saw the need for coworking space to make the transition as well.

“The idea that ‘work’ revolves around an office in a building located in a commercial area is obsolete,” says Sanford. “People can be productive working wherever they are located, and sometimes that needs to be in a professional office, but no one wants or needs to commute to an office building downtown anymore. They need flex space in their community.”

A team of experts in coworking, restaurant and franchise development were assembled to create the concept. Soon after that, eXp bought SUCCESS Enterprises, its iconic brand, and related media properties, including SUCCESS magazine. It was a match made in heaven.

The concept was quickly labeled SUCCESS Space…Café, Cowork & Coaching, referring to the three revenue streams built into the model. There is a ‘post-pandemic push’2 underway in the flex space arena, and Glenn’s vision puts SUCCESS Space squarely in the mix.

AN ICONIC BRAND

Many concepts are developed and expanded using the franchise model, but most spend decades building their brand. Not so with SUCCESS Space, which bears the marks of the century-old brand’s history. SUCCESS magazine, established in 1897 by philosopher Orison Swett Marden, offers advice on best business practices, inspiration from major personalities in business and entertainment, and motivation to improve the mind and body so that our readers are in the best possible mental and physical shape to compete and reach their goals.

Featuring people who are considered successful, landing on the cover is a highly prized accomplishment achieved by Tony Robbins, Mark Cuban, Elon Musk, and numerous celebs and extraordinary achievers. Glenn’s vision was to bring ‘SUCCESS’ to the local community where entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, intrapreneurs live and need a place to collaborate, share a cup of coffee and get things done.  The SUCCESS Space franchise makes achieving success within reach like never before with the right ingredients to support everyone striving for success.

THREE BUSINESSES IN ONE

The three “C’s” of SUCCESS Space include a robust café, a professional cowork habitat, and access to a certified coach. The first “C” is for café, one that features gourmet coffees and teas, a nice breakfast and lunch assortment to choose from, and a sharable menu for ‘happy hour,’ including charcuterie boards, artisanal flatbreads, local craft beer, and wine. The café, open to the public, is designed to be a social place for people in the community to gather and share great food and drink.

The central “C” is for cowork, a place where you can access space by the day, week, month, or by the minute, all from an app on your phone.

Imagine you’re enjoying a mocha latte when you get an invite to an important meeting online.  You select a room on your phone and head through the doors to SUCCESS.  Having a convenient place to conduct a video conference is increasingly critical in the intense online world of business. Imagine a space without the dog barking, the kids coming into view, or the UPS man arriving with another package.  Besides the flex space, there are offices to rent longer term, a collaboration area, two conference rooms that are podcast ready, and green screens for filming or vlogging.

The final “C” is for coaching.  Each Space will have a certified SUCCESS Growth Coach on staff.  You can sign up for pre-scheduled coaching sessions or just drop in when needed.  Every business owner needs coaching, but it’s been tough to find in the local community…until now.

“Our 5,000 square foot model is designed for the future of work,” says Ted Laatz, president of SUCCESS Space Franchising. “We can take an existing facility and retrofit it or build from scratch.  Either way, we bring a new platform into the local community to support achievers.”

A FRANCHISE FOR YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD

Every community around the country needs a place to mix and mingle, collaborate and get things done. The SUCCESS Space plan is to be that place in your neighborhood. Already with over 100 potential franchise locations in the pipeline, it may be sooner than you think, and that’s a good thing since we are not going back to the old way of working.
