About Sportball

Sportball skills development programs introduce children to the concepts and skills involved in the eight core sports of the Sportball methodology including: hockey, soccer, tennis, baseball, basketball, volleyball, golf and football. Classes are conducted once a week using developmentally appropriate methods to introduce, practice and refine gross motor skills. The programs reinforce the benefits of teamwork and skills development rather than the importance of winning, enabling children to gain the confidence and develop the social skills necessary to succeed in sport and life.

Franchise History

For almost 20 years, Sportball has been encouraging kids to “play with passion, play for fun” through their innovative multi-sport programming. Sportball was one of the first programs of its kind to focus on building developmentally appropriate skills through non-competitive sports, games and activities – and the company keeps evolving to make sure that it delivers the best in sports programming for kids under 12, whether that means partnering with leading research institutions, offering adapted programs or working with schools to enhance existing physical education programs.
