We use only the finest cuts of meat, seasoned to perfection. The ideal blend of cherry and hickory wood compliment our fourteen hour smoking process on our Southern Pride Smokin’ Pit.
The award-winning smoky barbeque flavor that is uniquely Squealers® had humble beginnings. It all started a decade ago, in a custom-built 30-foot trailer equipped with a Southern Pride 500 spk smoker, sinks and refrigeration. Traveling to barbeque cook-offs and Ribfest events throughout the South, East and Midwest, President and founder Jeff Yater perfected the Squealers® recipe and won the hearts and taste buds of hard-core barbeque lovers and judges alike. Armed with a loyal following, a superior reputation and over 65 awards from regional, national and world barbeque authorities, Squealers® knew they had the recipe for success. Using only the finest cuts of meats, smoked to perfection over select seasoned cherry wood complemented by its award-winning barbeque recipes and southern-style side dishes, Squealers® opened its first restaurant in the spring of 2001. The people of Mooresville and central Indiana couldn't get their fill of this great barbeque. It wasn't long before Squealers® became the premier destination for down home barbeque in the Midwest. Their combination of incredible barbeque and tasty sides, all served up at an affordable price helped Squealers® grow beyond their Mooresville store.
