Jersey Mike's Operators Adding 3 More Locations in Birmingham Area

Angelo and Kimberly Crowell are a married couple and multi-unit operators passionate about growing their portfolio of Jersey Mike's Subs. They operate 29 locations in Florida, Alabama, and Georgia and have just signed on to reopen three locations in the Birmingham area.

Angelo, a former NFL player, has been a fan of the sandwich brand since he was 16. "I got to know the owner well, and as an inquisitive kid, I asked him, 'How do you own one of these?' and when I finished playing football, and was looking at franchise opportunities, Jersey Mike's was at the top of the list," said Angelo. "Kim and I are committed to operational excellence, and welcome the community to stop in to see our brand new design and enjoy the best sub sandwich on the planet."

The first of the three area locations they are reopening took place in Vestavia Hills earlier this month. Two more locations in Hoover and Mountain Brook are still to come. The Crowells have been Jersey Mike's franchisees since 2010.

Jersey Mike's now has 2,000 restaurants open and under development throughout the country.
