MMV Corporation Signs Multi-Unit Agreement With Curry Up Now
A new deal between multi-unit operator MMV Corporation and Curry Up Now grants the franchisee rights to open the Indian fast casual restaurants throughout the Lone Star state. Initial plans are for multiple locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area followed by expansion into the Austin market. The first opening is scheduled for March of next year and will also debut an attached Mortar & Pestle bar, Curry Up Now’s craft cocktail concept that serves American and globally inspired, handcrafted cocktails, and bar bites.
“I was first attracted to the Curry Up Now concept for its clever approach to the construction and deconstruction of Indo-Western cuisine and culture,” said MMV Corporation’s Ankita Mehta. “We at MMV Corporation are eager to bring Curry Up Now restaurants, and its innovative Indian cuisine, to Texas. Our experience in this region gives us full confidence that the Curry Up Now brand will be a welcome addition to the culinary and cultural landscape of the area, and we can’t wait to share that with all of Texas.”
MMV Corporation also operates multiple Cold Stone Creamery shops and is currently building two World of Beer locations in Texas. The company is led by Ankita & Dharmesh Mehta, Kamlesh and Jagruti Modi, Ratnakar and Lila Mody, and Aryan Vig.
