Multi-Brand Operator Adds Amazing Lash to Portfolio

Mega-brand franchisee Mitsa Group has just signed an area development agreement to open 5 Amazing Lash Studios in Richmond-Virginia Beach markets. The first location is set to open in Virginia Beach in February.

Mitsa Group’s growing portfolio consists of more than 50 properties across the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. The company operates in the restaurant, hospitality, QSR, and retail categories with brands such as Einstein Bros, Caribou Coffee, Wingstop, Taco Bell, Tropical Smoothie Café, Fazoli’s, 7-11, hotels like Comfort Inn and Quality Inn & Suites, and gas stations like Shell and Citgo.

“This purchase is part of our diversification and is a reflection of how the trends are changing as far as the beauty industry right now,” said Sanjay Patel, president of Mitsa Group. “The Amazing Lash Studio brand is unique and offers something different in our area. It’s the category leader and has so much growth potential.” 

Patel’s partner, Falguni Amin, will oversee the operations of the five studios. Amin has 25 years of experience and a broad knowledge of the beauty industry.

The WellBiz Brands portfolio also includes Drybar, Radiant Waxing, Elements Massage, and Fitness Together.
