South Carolina Multi-Unit Operators Open 20th Zaxby's Restaurant

Brothers Jim and Britt Poston opened their 20th Zaxby's location this week, the brand's first in Blythewood, South Carolina. The duo who have been franchisees with Zaxby's since 1997 have opened their newest location as drive-thru only until state and federal regulations allow them to open the dining room. It marks the 20th Zaxby's restaurant for the brothers and their seventh in the Columbia area.

"Blythewood is a strong, growing community filled with super folks," said Jim Poston. "We are excited to be opening our seventh Zaxby's restaurant in the area and look forward to supporting local initiatives. We are proud to be a part of the Zaxby's brand and invite guests to visit us at the drive-thru and try out our chicken and sauces."

Their new 3,600-square-foot restaurant uses Zaxby's latest farmhouse style design with red exterior and rustic interior and will provide about 60 new jobs in the area.

The Poston's other Zaxby's locations are in Conway, Florence, Hartsville, Myrtle Beach, Orangeburg, and Sumter.

Athens, Georgia-based Zaxby's is a fast-casual chicken concept that has grown to more than 900 locations in 17 states.
