British Youth International College Franchise Overview

About British Youth International College

Our first Franchise in the UK was started in Basingstoke by Pragnya Reddy, who is also a software consultant. She will operate the franchise alongside her husband Manjunath B who is also a software consultant by profession. Below is her testimonial:

“When my daughter won a national level abacus competition, we had many enquiries from parents about the institute where she was training and the benefits of it. This made us think of opening a face-to-face BYITC abacus training centre in Basingstoke. The journey from 0 to 3 batches in a matter of 3 months was an exhilarating one. Extremely satisfied by the support and guidance provided by the BYITC team!”

Franchise History

British Youth International College was started in 2016 when Dr. Mantri taught her son who was struggling with basic maths using the humble tool abacus, with the use of abacus tool children learn how to calculate faster than a calculator!

Spotting a gap in the market, the software engineer-turned entrepreneur started the business. It has since built a trusted brand and has taught thousands of students globally. During the pandemic the company has gone global with the help of the world's first Game Based Abacus Application. BYITC has witnessed tremendous increase in registration of students since the introduction of game- based abacus application.

After the successful launch of abacus maths and winning the trust of student community BYITC has also added English and computing to its offering.
