About Corbeil Appliances

Corbeil Appliances is Canada's largest specialty retailer of quality and innovative home appliance products and services. Since the company was founded in 1949, Corbeil has made the sale of appliances its specialty. After building a solid reputation through its store on St-Hubert Street in Montreal (a store that continues to operate), Mr. Corbeil opened a second outlet on Autoroute 440 in Laval in 1990 and a third in 1996, this time on Chemin Chambly in Longueuil. That same year, Le Groupe Cantrex Inc. acquired the company and proceeded to create a large network of franchises specializing in the sale of appliances. From that moment on, Corbeil experienced spectacular growth that saw stores open in practically every region of Quebec, in addition to making inroads in Ontario.
