Founded in 2011 and franchising since 2017, Dat Dog is a New Orleans-based restaurant chain that specializes in gourmet hot dogs and sausages that can be dressed in a selection of over 30 different toppings.

Franchise History

The first Dat Dog opened in a 475-square-foot shack in a post-Hurricane Katrina neighborhood on February 14, 2011. More affectionately referred to as a hot dog stand to remind guests of happy times at a picnic, ball park, concert or vacation, CEO and Founder Constantine Georges wanted to put a smile on his neighbors’ faces.
