Einstein Bros. Bagels is based in Denver, Colorado, where it opened its first franchise location in 1995. The first non-traditional location opened in 1997. Since then, Einstein Bros. became part of Bagel Brands, which includes Bruegger’s Bagels, Manhattan Bagel and Noah’s NY Bagels, and Bagel Brands is a subsidiary of Panera Brands. Across all Bagel Brands there are just under 1,000 locations.
