Franchise History

La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill® (La Salsa®) opened its first restaurant in 1979 and was purchased by CKE Restaurants in March 2002 along with the acquisition of Santa Barbara Restaurant Group. La Salsa® pioneered the concept of offering high-quality Mexican food in a fast-casual atmosphere. The brand - distinguished by the flavor and freshness of its products - appeals to health-conscious individuals with discriminating taste. Menu items such as all white meat chicken, steak and Mahi Mahi burritos and tacos are grilled or prepared to order.
