Franchise Signs 19 Agreements to Date

September 09, 2021 // Franchising.com // DALLAS - As the world continues to grapple with the long-lasting impacts of the pandemic, one thing remains certain - the world needs innovative, strategic thinkers. Enter iCode, whose mission is to help develop the next generation of scientists, researchers, engineers and coders. While mask-clad families scramble to gear up for a less-than-traditional back-to-school season, the iCode team is coming off an incredibly busy summer and ramping up for its most successful school season yet.

Even amid a pandemic, iCode signed 19 franchise agreements in 2021. Franchise operators are flocking to the business model, which is unlike anything in the industry. With an exclusive curriculum, facilities outfitted with technology to inspire students and a variety of programs - both in-person and virtual - franchise owners are able to diversify and customize to make the most out of their space. As a result, franchised locations generated $395,000 average unit volume for 2020*.

“I want people to know that iCode is so much more than just a coding school - in fact, there’s nothing else like it in the marketplace,” shared Abid Abedi, founder and CEO of iCode, which currently operates in three countries. “Our teams are invested in the development of the whole child, which is why we’re set up in classrooms for kids to make friends, provide access to quality hardware for hands-on learning and run through exercises that strengthen soft skills, like teamwork and problem solving. As our world continues to advance and create new jobs, our services have become less of a want and more of a need - we’re preparing children and young adults for the jobs of tomorrow and a successful future, all while having fun.”

Every iCode offers ample space, which is broken into collaboration rooms, classrooms and labs areas, where families can select from a variety of programs for enrollment. Children can either advance through the school’s Belt or Paths systems, learning every cutting-edge subject available and staying with the same core group of students, or children can be enrolled in camps and one-off classes. And, with the roll out of its flexible, self-paced ‘iCode Anytime,’ students - and franchise owners - will never miss a beat, even if public schools shift to remote learning once again.
