PJ’s Coffee Brings NOLA to Pensacola with Original Small Batch Flavor

New Orleans-born coffeehouse to open its third Florida location in July

July 14, 2023 // Franchising.com // PENSACOLA, Fla. – PJ’s Coffee is eager to connect with guests across Florida through freshly roasted premium coffee at its newest location in Pensacola.

Located at 85 W. Airport Blvd. and less than a mile from Pensacola Christian College, the city’s first PJ’s Coffee will soon be the new go-to spot for gourmet coffee roasted in small batches and New Orleans-style beignets. New Orleans native and Pensacola resident Michele Carlton will be the owner and operator of the famous coffeehouse set to open in late July.

“I’m overjoyed to bring a taste of my hometown and the first PJ’s Coffee to Pensacola,” said Carlton. “I’ve always wanted to open a coffee shop, so this is a dream come true because it allows me to share a part of myself with the community. I am excited to provide people with everything we have to offer, including our famous fluffy beignets that are perfectly coated in powdered sugar. With just one bite of these famous New Orleans pastries, you’d think you’ve just been teleported to the second line of a Mardi Gras parade.”

Residents and visitors will soon learn what freshly roasted, premium coffee that warms the soul is all about, whether they are on the go or would like to sit in the large seating area to gather with friends and family. Once open, PJ’s Coffee in Pensacola will mark the brand’s third location in the Sunshine State.

PJ’s Coffee utilizes only the best quality Arabica coffee, sourcing 14 origin coffees from Sumatra to Ethiopia, Colombia to Papua New Guinea. PJ’s carries a complete line of espresso-based beverages, flavored coffee and award-winning Original Cold Brew™ iced coffee, and a variety of food options, including fresh-baked pastries and desserts.
