Franchise History

The pre-cursor to OrderUp began when Chris Jeffrey and Jason Kwicien were students at Penn State. When they needed to earn money to pay for their 2004 Spring Break trip, they decided to organize a local and successful restaurant guide known as LionMenus, with menus and food specials that would be distributed to students on campus. OrderUp was founded in 2009 when Chris and Jason realized the growing consumer demand for an online food delivery service that aggregated the menus of a fragmented restaurant industry. They use a unique business model that sells digital franchises to local entrepreneurs across the country.
