Brewing Up Franchise Opportunity With Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii

When Bryce Walker stepped into a Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii location while on vacation, he immediately knew the place was different.

“Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii immediately stood out from all other coffee shops,” Walker said. “It had a great feeling of community, a far superior product and a laidback vibe that spoke to me. That’s what I am; that’s what I like.”

Walker visited the shop every day of his vacation and on the last day took with him some information about franchise opportunities. Walker has signed a multi-unit franchise agreement and will soon be opening his first two locations in Lexington, Ky.

“I was already hooked on the brand, but after talking to Scott (Snyder, CEO), I was sold,” Walker said.

Walker learned on that call that Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii had been purchased by Royal Aloha Franchise Coffee Company. Under this new ownership, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii received new branding and packaging, as well as a new restaurant design – with more improvements still to come.

Additionally, Royal Aloha Franchise Company worked hard to build a franchise management team second to none. The resulting team brings with it decades of experience with food and beverage brands including McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Chipotle, Noodles & Company, Einstein Brothers, Red Robin, Jimmy Johns and Quiznos…to name a few.

“The collective experience and ‘know-how’ of this team accelerates our ability to deliver on a new franchise opportunity that not only supports our new and existing franchisees every step of the way, but will also help us to achieve our national expansion plans,” Snyder said. “I see our leadership as the gold standard of franchise operations.”

This team guides each franchisee through every stage of successfully running a Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii business, including training, real estate, construction, marketing and operations.

Of course, what is most important to the business is that its coffee is and always will be badass.

Bad Ass Coffee prides itself as a leader in sharing a wide variety of Hawaiian coffees to the mainland. While the Hawaiian Islands produce different varieties of coffees based on the elevation where they’re grown or their weather conditions, what they all have in common is a volcanic soil that is rich with minerals, which encourages the growth of healthy coffee trees. The unique weather on the islands also creates the perfect balance of temperature, rain, sun and shade with low winds to produce coffees that are mild in taste and low in acidity.

“Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii has excellent relationships with Hawaiian growers and the end product is far superior,” Walker said. “At Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii, we know where our coffee is coming from and I like knowing we are supporting these small farmers and local economies.”

A supportive environment is exactly what is fostered at Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii.

“We embody the Aloha Spirit and welcome franchisees to our family in every respect,” Snyder said. “We take care of each other and want the best for our ‘ohana (Hawaiian for family).”

With an aggressive plan to open 150 new stores over the next five years, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii is now in talks with potential new franchisees to make that happen. With territories available, it’s time for you to fuel your inner badass and call them today at 720-798-0034.
