About The Touch Up Guys

Touch Up Guys paint, plastic and vinyl repair franchise offers much more than the name suggests. The original concept was focused at creating undetectable repairs to the paintwork, bumpers and other plastic parts on motor vehicles. Over the years much effort has been applied to researching and developing new systems & products which our franchisees are able to offer.

Franchise History

Touch Up Guys founders Fred & Cheryl Hawken launched the franchise in 1991 in Queensland, Australia. Fred had identified a niche market in the mobile repair of paintwork on motor vehicles. After a chance meeting with a like-minded entreprenuer, Boyd Starkey who specialised in the repair of plastic bumpers, the concept of Mobile Paint & Bumper repairs was born.
