Dairy Queen Multi-Unit Operators Open New Locations
Two Dairy Queen multi-unit franchisees have each just added new locations to their portfolios. Last week, Michael Cassetta opened his fifth DQ Grill & Chill location, this one in Glastonbury, Connecticut. This week saw Steve and Lori Avery open their sixth DQ Grill & Chill location, this one in Schuyler, Nebraska.
Cassetta, who has been with the Dairy Queen brand for 12 years, said, “Dairy Queen’s business model always appealed to me due to the corporate team’s hands on approach when onboarding new operators into the system. I have felt well supported every step of the way and I look forward to providing Glastonbury’s locals with the exceptional treats and customer service they have come to love at classic Dairy Queen.”
The Averys have been a part of the Dairy Queen system for three decades. “After many years of experience with Dairy Queen, Lori and I have had the pleasure of seeing firsthand the pure joy and fond memories that DQ brings to fans of all ages,” said Steve Avery. “We knew that Schuyler was the perfect place to continue this tradition, and we’re thrilled to be providing the community with a spot where locals can come together and enjoy DQ’s great food and classic frozen treats in a place that’s close to home.”
Both new DQ Grill & Chill locations feature the brand’s modern look, comfortable booths, large wooden tables, warm lighting, and upbeat music.
The Dairy Queen brand has been operating for nearly eight decades and now has more than 7,000 locations worldwide.
