Mega Church's Chicken Franchisee Adds Another Texas Location

Mike Collins is a well-known name in Church's Chicken circles. After all, he's one of the brand's largest franchisees and operates dozens of the QSR restaurants throughout Texas and New Mexico. This week Collins added one more feather to his cap by reopening the Church's Chicken restaurant in Waco, Texas.

Collins is president of Ampler Chicken, LLC, a company which purchased 70 Church's Chicken locations back in late 2017. He has years of experience in the quick-service industry operating restaurants across Texas and New Mexico.

"It's great being a part of such a storied brand," said Collins. "To many, Church's is simply a restaurant, but to others, we're a member of the community whose weekly visits are enjoyed by the whole family."

His new Waco location now features Church's new STAR Image design and décor elements, which include Church's latest interior seating options, new exterior design and color palettes, and contemporary lighting inside and out.

The Church's Chicken brand (known as Texas Chicken outside the Americas) has more than 1,500 locations in 23 countries and international territories and system-wide sales of more than $1 billion.
