Multi-Unit Operators Team Up To Open A Firehouse Subs in Florida

Ted Tallman and Shannon and Diane Sink have been operating multiple Firehouse Subs restaurants on their own for years. A new agreement has them teaming up to bring one of the sandwich shops to West Palm Beach, Florida. The new deal marks the third Firehouse Subs restaurant for the Sinks and the fifth restaurant for Tallman. It's the first restaurant the business partners have opened together.

Tallman was one of the brand's first area representatives and has been a part of the system for more than 15 years now, working to recruit, develop, and lead franchisees to expand the brand's presence in South Florida.

"I've been in the restaurant business for 30 years now, and I've spent half of that with Firehouse Subs," Tallman said. "For nearly two decades, I've been proud to be a part of the brand's growth across the country and I'm excited to bring our heartfelt service and flavorful food back to West Palm Beach."

The Sinks have been with the brand since opening their first unit in Jensen Beach, Florida in 2017. They opened their second restaurant in Stuart, Florida a year later.

"It's been an amazing experience to be part of a brand that gives back to the community in such a big way," Shannon Sink said. "We had our first Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation donation event earlier this year, awarding $50,000 to local fire departments. There's no greater feeling than helping the community you live and work in, and we look forward to continuing that work in West Palm Beach."

 Jacksonville, Florida-based Firehouse Subs has more than 1,170 locations across the country.
