Slim Chickens Continued Signing Franchisees During Covid-19
Fast-casual brand Slim Chickens didn’t allow the Covid-19 pandemic to slow its growth down. The brand just announced that since February it had signed six multi-unit agreements representing 38 new franchise restaurants.
The company said in a statement that these deals with experienced franchisee groups would be bringing the new locations to key markets such as Alabama and southern Tennessee, Dallas, Cleveland, and cities throughout Montana.
The brand has opened four restaurants since the start of the year and has another 23 scheduled to open through December. New locations are set to open in markets like Florida, Colorado, New Jersey, Texas, and Utah. The brand is even going international with five restaurants set to open in the United Kingdom this year.
Slim Chickens opened in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 2003. Today, it has 100 restaurants and more than 350 restaurants in development.
