About Basecamp Fitness

Basecamp Fitness is a boutique fitness franchise that uses high-intensity interval training to help members torch calories in less time. Each 35-minute workout focuses on interval training, rotating between an Air-bike and heart-pumping floor exercises. Supported by a trained instructor, members receive additional guidance via large instructional video screens. An optional 10 minutes at the end of each workout features a wide array of core exercises, which means participants benefit from intense cardio, strength training, and abdominal training during every session.

The first Basecamp Fitness studio opened in Burlingame, CA in 2013. 

Franchise History

After selling a tech startup, Basecamp Fitness founder Nick Swinmurn helped develop a new kind of gym in a warehouse in California. Inspired by the needs of mixed martial arts community, the Basecamp method was originally developed as a way for high-performance athletes to enhance their training. However, soon, Swinmurn realized this time-saving, heart-pumping training method could be adapted to all types of fitness enthusiasts, and Basecamp was born.

Now, Basecamp Fitness offers classes for everyone, from active athletes to newcomers. Our revolutionary method combines the best of HIIT, technology, and functional fitness to bring your members a one-of-a-kind workout.
