Franchise History

In 2020, Andy Viola opened the first Beachside Diner in St. Augustine Beach Florida. Fueled by a passion for creating the perfect breakfast experience, he and his family focused on serving the community by delivering fresh, high-quality meals with speed, consistency and heartfelt hospitality. As Beachside Diner continued to grow in popularity, Andy sold the restaurant to lifetime restaurateur Alan Wollenschlaeger. Alan had previously visited the Beachside Diner as a customer and was immediately blown away by the great food and welcoming atmosphere. When he heard it was for sale, he relocated to St. Augustine and purchased the business. With great vibes, retro diner charm and long lines of eager patrons, he realized the Beachside Diner was too good to remain a secret in St. Augustine Beach.
