Millennium Dance Franchising Franchise Overview
Franchise HistoryBased in North Hollywood, Calif., Millennium Dance Complex was launched in 1992 by Ann Marie Baker, a New York-trained dancer who owned and operated successful dance and fitness centers on the East Coast before moving to Los Angeles with her husband Robert. Ann Marie managed L.A.’s formerly famous Moro Landis Studios, a dance and rehearsal facility, before being offered the opportunity to acquire the one-time hotspot. She accepted the offer and in 1992, quickly began to restore the location to its former glory. In 1999 Ann Marie changed the name of the studio to Millennium Dance Complex and Robert, a New York-trained professional dancer and television producer, joined her in the business. Today Millennium is the place to go to work on new moves, exercise or gain a reputation for being a leading choreographer or dancer.
