Operators Add Another DQ to Their Portfolio

Hemi Dhar, Shohel Momin, Rita Patrawala, and Ash Patrawala have expanded their portfolio by opening a DQ restaurant in Pearson, Georgia. 

"For our team, Dairy Queen has always meant great food, joyful moments, and a deep connection to the communities we serve," Dhar said. "This will be Pearson's hometown DQ. We're excited to welcome families, students, and neighbors to make memories here for years to come."

The Pearson restaurant will be operated by a seasoned, family-run group with decades of Dairy Queen experience and a longstanding commitment to the region. The team currently operates DQ restaurants in Homerville, Blackshear, Folkston, and Fernandina Beach.

The operators' roots in the brand run generations deep. The family's Dairy Queen journey began in the 1980s and continues today, carried forward with the same focus on hospitality, teamwork, and community. This new restaurant adds to the group's record of leadership and service across South Georgia and North Florida, including several "Business of the Year" honors within their markets and broader industry involvement.

The new restaurant is located near the corner of Albany Avenue and Main Street at 65 Main Street North. In addition to Dairy Queen's national partnership with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, the Pearson DQ team plans to support local schools and youth sports, host fundraising nights, participate in church and community events, and donate products for local causes.
